Know the Basics of Search engine Optimization: here’s an SEO Guide for you

The aim of search engine optimization is quite simple. All you need is an SEO guide. The reason why we Optimize our articles is to make them more search engine friendly, and grant us more ranking on the search pages. Knowledge of effective SEO is not as hard as it might seem at first. At least, it does not require that you have a working knowledge of computer high level programming language or some other form of algorithmic jargon. The only task you will need to put your pretty head through will be to know how SEO works, and this SEO Guide is just for the precise purpose of showing you how.

Basic principles of Spiders: Spiders are programs created by the search site in question. They are sent to your website where they copy all the content on your site and then forward them to the main database of the sender search engine. These Spiders or “bots” as others refer to them as, “craw” over millions of content and archive them in the main storage banks of the host search engine. They work by following link upon link in your document.

Search engines like Google and Yahoo claim that their Spiders go through as much as 150,000,000 items daily. This is almost equivalent to the whole books in the US Library of congress!

Spiders are skilled at reading just like every other human being. They read from the left to the right of the manuscript, starting from the top left corner – again like every normal human. They even know how to read columns. And if by chance a spider encounters a link in your document, it stores the link in its memory and sends another Spider to check out the website content in the other website.

From this, one can deduce that it is no longer important for you to manually submit your website to the search engines; their spiders do the job just right.

Therefore, your number one priority will be to make the spider read the rest of your documents once the spider has read the first pages. A way to do this is to provide links to the rest of the documents at the bottom of the pages of your documents.

You can also restrict access to certain files on your page by editing your robot.txt file.

Here are some ways to make spiders crawl you site more often:

Guest postings: some websites allow you post links in your comments when you visit as a guest post. This is a really cool way to generate back-links to your website. The easy way to get sites that you can use for this is to go on Google and conduct a search on guest postings with your selected niche.

Another way is to make use of High Profile article Sites. Go online and search on articles that are in your niche and have at least 100 diggs. You then copy the topic of the article on to Google and search with quotes. The result will yield you sites to submit your articles.

I hope the SEO guide proves helpful enough.
